Hindustan Talks organised a three day workshop in Khurja village of district Bulandshahar in August 2017. The aim of this workshop was to make villagers understand how to make officials and non officials at panchayati level aware of problems faced in the village, as there are no meetings held at panchayati level in the village.
In this workshop rural people participated enthusiastically and then it was decided to form a team of people in Panchayat that is now working for disseminating information regarding rural development related works. This team is transparently working for construction of toilets in the village and tackling the issues,(if any) in pension scheme.
This way there is behavioural change in common villagers as well as panchayati level officials and non officials.
We hope for eradicating poverty and attain prosperity in every village.
