On 29 March 2016 , Hindustan Talks and a Co-operative agency AFCL organised a training camp in Ranchna village of Baraut, District Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. This programme named “IWMP” was actually initiated by Uttar Pradesh Government.
In this programme, we gave information about Self Help Group to rural women and about water management to farmers. We emphasized to make people self reliant, to increase their income and improve their social standard.
There were 105 people present in the training centre.
The Self Help Groups that were already running in the region were given financial and social aid by the government for promoting the items made by women in markets through exhibitions and stalls.
