In June 2016 Hindustan Talks organised a workshop at GTB Nagar in New Delhi for 35 North East students who are doing graduation and post graduation from University of Delhi for their capacity building.
We interacted with them and helped them in learning to work for the slums, told them the problems faced by people living in slum areas and how to do field research and surveys.
This group has now adopted a slum near Malviya Nagar, Delhi and regularly visit there and keenly working for the people and children of that slum.
