On 30 May 2015, Hindustan Talks organised a workshop in village Sauspur of District Rampur in Uttar Pradesh. The theme of workshop was – What should be the role of villagers in Rural Development?
We also organised a Youth Capacity Building Programme. This programmed ran for two months continuously. People of age group 14-55 actively participated.
We motivated youth not to move in to cities as influx of people in cities from villages is not good for nation and people themselves.
We interacted with farmers and told them how they can increase their income.
With huge support of villagers a “Kisan Club” was founded which is now registered with bank.
This club regularly helds meetings and shared ways through which farmers can get a good market for selling their vegetables and earn a fair price for their crops.
