On 20 June 2015, We organised a workshop for village development in village Gadiya of district Rampur.
25 people including young women , older people learnt to file an RTI
After their training they were able to file RTI and now they can actively participate in village development related works as they have known the right source to get the relevant information.
After the training these people filed an RTI as someone in village encroached a land for lake and later on the possession of that land was made to the village by the administration.
Filing RTI also helped in transparency in distribution of Rashan Cards in this village.
They are now making use of RTI for bringing transparency in all works of village development .
